Crisis Counseling Program
The Texans Recovering Together Crisis Counseling Program, from Heart of Texas Region MHMR, offers free, short-term crisis counseling by phone or televideo for individuals, families, and groups living in McLennan, Limestone, Hill, Freestone, Falls, and Bosque counties.
The crisis counseling program is available Monday – Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Requests for counseling will be responded to within 24 hours. Counseling may include resource navigation, grief support, coping skill development, psychoeducation, problem-solving, linkage to available support groups, and more.
The Crisis Counseling Program is made possible through FEMA and Texas Health and Human Services. The team is composed of qualified mental health professionals from Heart of Texas MHMR.
